Performance and Awards

Some of Ben’s notable performances include: playing with President Clinton, The Four Tops, Temptations, The Los Lonely Boys, Willie Nelson, and Grover Washington Jr.  Ben has also recorded, produced, written selections, and arrangements on three of his own CDs. He had the opportunity to record on Celine Dion’s Taking Chances release and Fantasia’s second self-titled release.  Ben plays regularly for various pit orchestras, venues, and clubs.

Teaching

Ben directs the band program and music classes at a private high school and is adjunct at three colleges in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area.   

Education

Ben has a Masters Degree in Music Education and a Bachelors degree in Jazz Saxophone Performance from the University of the Arts, where he received The Michael Brecker Saxophone Award and the UARTS Jazz Award.
